As the Operations Manager at Wheely, you will have the opportunity to lead the charge in acquiring, retaining, and ensuring quality among our top-rated chauffeurs. You will play a crucial role in improving our business performance in Dubai and will collaborate with our innovative product teams to roll out new features and improve existing products. If you have at least 4 years of experience in operations management along with excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of successfully managing high-performing teams, we want to hear from you!


Responsibilities



  • Define and implement best practices for acquiring, retaining, and ensuring quality among Wheely chauffeurs;

  • Take ownership of the Dubai's business performance by identifying opportunities and issues, and proposing improvements that will have an immediate impact;

  • Lead a team of Operations associates and create a culture of high performance and engagement;

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of The Dubai Wheely Academy;

  • Collaborate with product teams to roll out new features and improve existing products;

  • Stay up-to-date with compliance requirements in the sector and ensure that they are met

  • Act as a representative and spokesperson for Wheely to our chauffeurs and other external stakeholders.


Requirements



  • Experience in operations management, preferably in a fast-paced environment;

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering creative solutions;

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment;

  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in using BI tools; SQL proficiency is a must;

  • Previous experience managing individual contributors (ICs);

  • Exceptional communication skills with a focus on clarity, structure, and ownership;

  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence with a customer-centric approach;

  • Able to work in Dubai Internet City 5 days a week.

  • This is an office-based role located in Dubai Internet City. Wheely has an in-person culture but allows flexible working hours and work from home when needed. In most cases, we expect team members to be in the office at least four days a week.
