Role Summary 

As the Weddings & Social Events Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind positioning our property as Dubai’s premier destination for weddings, social occasions, and bespoke private functions. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Distribution, you’ll lead the charge in generating revenue, crafting unforgettable experiences, and building lasting relationships. This role blends commercial strategy, creative vision, and operational excellence—perfect for someone passionate about luxury events and lifestyle hospitality. 

Key Responsibilities 

Business Development & Sales 

Prospect new clients through networking, trade shows, and partnerships 

Create tailored proposals and event packages aligned with brand standards 

Conduct site inspections and presentations to showcase venues 

Negotiate space, rates, and room-to-space ratios to secure business 

Exceed revenue targets through upselling and strategic pricing 

 

Event Planning & Execution 

Serve as the main contact from inquiry to post-event follow-up 

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for flawless execution 

Manage logistics, budgets, and timelines with precision 

Guide clients through planning stages with creativity and care 

Maintain detailed documentation and ensure smooth handover to service teams 

 

Revenue & Market Strategy 

Partner with Revenue Management to forecast demand and optimize pricing 

Monitor market trends and competitor offerings 

Contribute to budget planning and financial performance 

 

Client Experience & Relationship Management 

Build long-term relationships with planners, clients, and vendors 

Represent the property at industry events and exhibitions 

Capture and act on feedback to enhance service delivery 

 

Team Collaboration & Leadership 

Mentor and support event coordinators and team members 

Share best practices across regional teams 

Foster a culture of excellence, creativity, and accountability 

 

Enhanced Responsibilities 

Introduce signature event concepts to attract destination weddings 

Partner with Marketing to develop impactful campaigns 

Oversee contracts, billing, and financial processes with integrity 

 

Desirable Skills and Qualifications 

Degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field 

3–5 years’ experience in weddings/social events within a lifestyle hotel/resort in UAE 

Strong creative flair and attention to detail 

Established network of planners, DMCs, and premium vendors 

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills 

Fluency in English; Arabic or other languages a plus 

Proficiency in MS Office, Delphi, and hotel systems 

Strategic planning and analytical capabilities 

 

Location and Work Setup
